Hi there! I'm Melissa, the artist behind Chroma Quest.

Chroma Quest is just a fancy name I've given to this creative journey of mine, a place to hang my art for you all to see. Welcome to my colorful little corner of the world!

When it comes to art I am here for the journey. I love to learn new mediums and explore new materials. My mediums may shift over time but my love to create persists, always. I began oil painting as a young kid and have identified as an artist ever since. There's nothing I love more than making something with my hands. In recent years I have worked largely in watercolor and recently began working with some different forms of printmaking, which I am loving!

I studied art history and studio art at California State University Long Beach. I've been a wedding and portrait photographer. I've also worked in interior design, and as a color expert for a world reknown interior decor brand. Color theory is my absolute favorite thing!
